The Clubhouse and Grounds Committee, along with the Board of Directors, met with Star Technology Group on February 26, 2025, to discuss Star’s evaluation of the gates. Star completed a comprehensive review of all entry and exit gates to provide a corrective plan.
It was found that the Promenade gates are in need of extensive services, including underground wiring. After seeing the evaluation, the Committee and Board have asked Andrew with Star to provide a detailed quote and time frame for repairs to the Promenade gate system. All other gates were also reviewed, with some lower-level needs to be addressed at all main gates and infrastructure wiring at the Mandalay 4 gate. The Committee and Board requested a quote to get the Mandalay entry gate working as soon as possible while exploring the need to update the infrastructure.
This project will take several months to complete, after the Committee and Board review and approve the best path forward. It is expected to take several weeks to get the quotes in to map out a plan, then several weeks for permitting, and then several months to complete the approved work. The board is working to unravel years of service issues and workarounds that have been done on the gates.
