Family Social Gatherings at the Clubhouse

There seems to be some confusion about the use of Clubhouse rooms for personal social gatherings. If you want to host a group, here's the basics of what you need to know. Full details can be found here.

  • Club Members, their immediate family, and their guests (with some conditions), have NON-EXCLUSIVE rights and privileges to use the Club facilities. To exercise these rights Members must be current residents in good financial standing.

  • Entrance to the Clubhouse is through the front door only by means of an Access Card.

  • Club Members may sponsor up to eight (8) guests, per unit, per day (conditions apply)

  • Guests MUST be signed in at the Front Desk upon entry

  • The Club Member must remain in the company of the guests at all times

  • Minors under the age of eighteen (18) years are not permitted to use the Club Facilities without adult supervision

  • Let the front desk staff know what you are doing

So what do these rules mean to you? Any Club Member can use any "available" Clubhouse space, NON-EXCLUSIVELY, to entertain their immediate family and up to eight (8) guests. Two (2) active Club Members who remain at the gathering at all times can invite up to 8 guests each (16) without issue. In fact, this type of usage is encouraged.

We've seen recently:

  • A group of 12 residents held an evening dinner party in the Campeon Room. They set up a table, brought in dinner and wine, and enjoyed an evening together without issue. They understood their use of the room was not exclusive

  • Another resident recently held a 15th Birthday party, with karaoke, on a Saturday morning without incident. They understood their use of the room was not exclusive

  • Another resident held a kid's Tea Party on a Saturday afternoon without incident. They understood their use of the room was not exclusive

All of them cleaned up after themselves leaving a decorated room/tables EXACTLY as they found them (including leaving the tablecloths clean) and complied with the basic rules listed above. Other Members, for the most part, saw the gathering, and gave the group an appropriate amount of space, while enjoying the Club Facilities for themselves.

Just remember, Club organized social events always take priority and please respect rooms that are configured/set up/decorated for an upcoming event and leave them exactly as you find them.
