There are currently multiple storms in the Atlantic and while luckily, none of the storms seem to be on a path through Florida, the HOA is continually monitoring and will notify residents of any significant developments that may impact our area or community this season.
As we approach hurricane season, please take a moment to prepare your home and property.
Entry Areas & Lanais:
During a hurricane WATCH, all entry areas, lanais, and patios must be cleared of all furniture and personal belongings, including potted plants, tables, and chairs. If you will not be on the property during hurricane season, please ensure all items are brought inside before you depart. If you are not in residence, please make arrangements for someone other than Association staff to remove items from your patio or lanai.
Windows & Doors:
Ensure shutters or impact glass are in good working order.
Utilities:
Know how to shut off electricity and water to your unit if advised. If you remain in your unit, you may experience low water pressure or a loss of water due to County pump station outages. Keep at least one gallon of water per person per day, with a two-week supply recommended. Clean your tub with bleach and fill it for cooking, washing, and toilet flushing.
Vehicles:
Park vehicles in a garage, carport, or close to the building structure, avoiding low-lying areas prone to flooding. Please be aware flooding may occur in the parking lot.
Interior Preparation:
Move valuables away from windows, elevate electronics and furniture if you are on a lower level, and store important documents in a waterproof container.
Deliveries:
No deliveries will be accepted once we are in a hurricane WARNING. Please reschedule any pending deliveries, as all delivery trucks will be turned away.

Gates:
All community gates will be secured in the open position once management turns over the keys and will remain open 12 hours before a forecasted hurricane impact to ensure access in the event of power loss. At that time, guardhouse staff will be released and security will not be on-site.
Clubhouse:
The clubhouse will close and the entrance will be locked once a hurricane WARNING is issued.
Pool:
During a hurricane WATCH, pool furniture will be stored for protection. We apologize for the inconvenience of not having chairs available on the pool deck. The pool will be treated during the WATCH period and will remain closed for at least two (2) days after the storm.
Staff:
Once a hurricane WARNING is in effect, staff will be dismissed to secure their homes and families. Only key personnel may remain on a voluntary basis, as time permits them to safely return home.
Please keep in mind that our staff are also residents of this area and must prepare their own homes and families.
Below are a few reminders and steps to ensure everyone is prepared for any potential storms that may come our way.
1. Stay Informed
2. Create an Emergency Plan
3. Assemble an Emergency Kit
4. Get an Insurance Check Up
5. Prepare Your Home Before the Storm
